The European Foundation for Support of Culture announces that the next prestigious final stage of the 'Classic Piano' Malta International Piano Competition will be held in 2021 in Valletta. This second grand edition will comprise of 14 International Piano competitions being organized in 8 cities around the world in 2019 and a further 6 different cities in 2020. The best 5 from each of these 14 competitions – 70 participants – will be invited to participate in the final stage of the 'Classic Piano' Malta International Piano Competition 2021 – which will be held in 4 Rounds, with a total prize fund of Eur 300,000.

b) A tour of 20 concerts in the following countries with a total honorarium of € 100,000 (€ 5,000 per concert):
Austria (Vienna, Salzburg), Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Latvia, Malta, Russia (Moscow, Saint Petersburg), Switzerland, Turkey, USA, UK
The 70 Participants at the final stage in Malta 2021 will be granted free participation and accommodation.
Prize winners at any of the 14 Competitions will not be admitted to other succeeding competitions within the series. Participants need to be under 35 years of age, when participating in one of the 14 competitions.
